This is WACKY WEEK here at Blogger Friend School! Everything is wacky fun! This week YOU, the student, get to share something of your choice that is little “Wacky”!!!
Have you done something crazy in your homeschool? Do you fingerpaint with your toes? Do you let your children do your hair? Do you wear your pajamas during homeschool? Oh, the list is endless, but it’s up to you and how much fun you want to have.
To make it even “wackier” (not sure if it’s really a word, but hey, we don’t check spelling this week at BFS either!!!…..try and type some or all of your post sdrawkcab. (backwards!)

(…and forwards…Make this a fun and relaxing week!)
I am so glad this is Wacky Week- because our week is definitely turning out a bit wacky. We started a new "fun eating adventure" this week by the name of the Feingold Program. The purpose for us is to try and curb some behaviors that are inappropriate and unkind that have been surfacing lately. Unfortunately the website warned us that things might get worse before they get better- and may I say they have gotten worse. The kiddos seem a bit out of control and we have been spending much time alone in our rooms (yes me too!!) to cool off. BUT... I have hope that things will get better, it will just take a bit of time.
On top of that, I have been working hard on getting this blog up and running (with hopes that our Open House can begin tomorrow morning) and much to my dismay BOTH of my desktop computers that I work on crashed this morning!! AHHHHHH!! So I am working on my hubby's laptop (thank you Lord for a backup plan) but it is hard for me to navigate this one and so things are moving much slower than I would like.
So- a YKCAW (WACKY) day/week is just what we need. We have actually taken today off from school to try and regroup- the kiddos have been trampling like elephants running in and out all day, playing in the backyard and now they are settled precariously teetering at the table working with playdough. The plan is a picnic in the backyard (thank you Lord for a beautiful day) and a LONG naptime.
All in all, most of our weeks are a bit ykcaw (wacky), and we try to just go with the flow. In fact, if we ever have a week that is looking quite normal then we try to throw something in there to wacky it up a bit- a sleepover outside, dinner for breakfast, fingerpainting on the driveway, etc.
